Since 1993, Brandt Excavating has provided dependable excavation, earthwork, demolition, grading, and site preparation services throughout Nebraska. What began as a small earthmoving operation has grown into an experienced excavation contractor equipped to take on projects of varying sizes and complexity.
Today, Brandt Excavating combines decades of field experience with modern equipment, precision GPS machine control, and the resources of the Bauer organization to deliver efficient, accurate solutions for commercial, infrastructure, roadway, and site development projects.
More Than 30 Years of Excavation Experience
Brandt Excavating was founded by Rick Brandt in 1993 with a small fleet of six trucks and four pieces of equipment. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to building lasting relationships, the company grew from a small earthmoving operation into a respected excavation contractor serving projects throughout Nebraska.
Over the years, Brandt Excavating expanded its capabilities to include excavation, precision demolition, site preparation, grading, earthmoving, and earth shoulder construction for interstates and highways across the state. The company developed a reputation for professional service, reliable project execution, and a straightforward approach to working with customers and project partners.
A New Chapter with Bauer
In 2022, Brandt Excavating became part of the Bauer organization, creating new opportunities to combine Brandt’s excavation and earthwork expertise with the capabilities of Bauer Infrastructure and Bauer Underground.
Today, Brandt Excavating continues to build on the foundation established in 1993 while working alongside its Bauer partners to support larger and more comprehensive construction and utility projects. This collaboration allows the companies to bring complementary capabilities together while maintaining the experience, equipment, and relationships that have defined Brandt Excavating for more than three decades.
